Conversational AI

Conversational AI allows computers to understand, process, and respond to human language in a natural, conversation-like manner.

Conversational AI is a broader term encompassing the technologies that enable human-like conversations between people and machines. This includes AI chatbots, voice assistants, and interactive voice response (IVR) systems. For small businesses, it means creating more intuitive and satisfying customer interactions by making technology feel less robotic.

It leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning, and deep learning to interpret context, intent, and sentiment from customer inputs. This allows for more dynamic and personalized responses than simple rule-based systems, enhancing everything from customer service to sales inquiries by mimicking human understanding.

Example

A local restaurant uses conversational AI in its online ordering system to let customers naturally describe their order and any special requests.
